Code of Conduct & Discipline
Our school strives to build capable, resilient students through practical education. Maintaining a disciplined code of conduct ensures everyone learns in a respectful and focused community.
Personal Conduct
- Regular attendance ensures steady academic progress. Absences require a valid leave note.
- Punctuality sets a positive tone for the day. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the bell rings.
- The School Diary and Identity Card are essential daily companions, they must always be carried to the school.
- To build strong communication skills, English is our primary language on campus, excepting designated language periods.
- Everyone deserves a safe and supportive environment. Any form of bullying, abuse, or violence operates under a strict zero-tolerance policy.
- Respectful language is a core value here. Profanity or derogatory remarks are strictly forbidden as they disrupt our community's comfort.
- High standards of courtesy shape character. Any misbehaviour on the campus or buses will be promptly addressed, as pupils proudly represent our school at all times.
Academics
- Excellence in academics is central. We encourage all students to sincerely dedicate themselves to studies and earn remarkable results.
- Unexcused absence from any class compromises learning. Please seek prior permission for any absence from the subject teacher.
- Academic integrity is non-negotiable. Any attempt to use unfair means during examinations or tamper with official records will invite severe action.
- Textbooks and notebooks reflect a student's dedication. They should be well-maintained, covered, and kept up-to-date with classwork.
- Teachers are always here to help. Students should seek assistance when completing assignments and keep pace with their classwork.
Movement & Campus Respect
- Grace and order should guide movement on our campus. Walking orderly along corridors is a sign of discipline.
- Please proceed quietly between classes so as not to disrupt the learning of others. Running on verandas or staircases is not permitted.
- The campus boundaries assure safety. No child should leave without the Principal's direct permission.
- The campus is our shared home. Defacing desks, furniture, or walls damages this shared space and will be subject to strict disciplinary action.
- We work together to keep our surroundings clean. Leftovers and litter must always be properly disposed of in designated dustbins.
Personal Hygiene & Dress Code
- Good health begins with personal hygiene. Basic habits such as thoroughly washing hands, particularly around meal times, are a must.
- As a daily hygienic practice, please ensure your child carries a clean handkerchief each day.
- To protect our community, students with contagious medical conditions are advised to stay home until fully recovered. Please notify the school immediately in such cases.
- A tidy appearance builds confidence. The prescribed school uniform must be clean, neat, and well-ironed.
- Trousers and skirts should fit well around the waist (low waists or narrow bottoms are not permitted). Shoes must be well-polished each morning.
- For boys (except Sikhs), hair should be maintained short and neat. Girls with long hair should secure it in two plaits with standard ribbons.
- Natural beauty is encouraged. Fancy jewelry, nail-paint, makeup, tattoos, and hair gels are strictly prohibited.
- Birthdays: Casual dress is allowed for celebrating Birthdays only for classes I to VIII. Senior students should remain in uniform.
Strict Prohibitions
- Mobile phones, tablets, or electronic communication devices are not to be brought to school.
- Chewing gum is strictly prohibited on campus.
- Carrying disruptive items such as toys, firecrackers, playing cards, music devices, headphones, or non-academic storage drives is not allowed.
- Wristwatches are not permitted routinely but are allowed for Senior Students (Classes IX to XII) during examination days.
Disciplinary Measures
Ground rules are clear so every student knows exactly what is expected of their character. In rare events where students breach our rules, the following escalated measures apply:
Oral Warning
A counseling moment to correct behavior immediately.
Withdrawal from Class
If a student's actions disrupt their peers' learning or a teacher's authority, they may be asked to leave class temporarily for reflection.
Written Warning
For serious or repeated infractions, a formal note is logged in the school diary by a coordinator, Vice-Principal, or Principal. It acts as both a warning and counseling record.
Parent Contact
True partnership sometimes demands parental intervention. When necessary, we contact parents so they can reinforce our corrective measures from home.
Suspension
A temporary exclusion from school rolls for part or full days when strict intervention is required by the Principal.
Expulsion
Only invoked in circumstances of severe indiscipline—this process permanently removes a student to protect the school's interest and community.

Expectations from Parents
Communication
Setting realistic goals helps children thrive. Please impart the importance of schooling and show consistent interest in their daily activities.
Character Over Everything
Good values, manners, and etiquette truly define success. We hope parents actively build these within a strong disciplinary framework at home.
Attendance & Routine
Regular attendance prevents backlogs. Unless truly ill, please ensure your ward is present on time every day. Absenteeism should be heavily discouraged.
Homework & Independence
Review school diaries daily and provide encouraging feedback. We strongly advocate for self-learning—excessive reliance on private tuitions can hinder independent growth. (Allowances are only requested for slow learners).
Extracurricular Backing
Gently encourage your ward to participate in various school activities and competitions. Healthy competition with peers drives ambition.
Presentation & Hygiene
Ensure your child arrives well-dressed, in a neatly ironed uniform, and with well-maintained personal hygiene.
Emotional Support
Be vigilant towards any sudden emotional shifts or maladjustment in your child. A collaborative constructive intervention works best—inform us immediately so we can help.
Active Engagement (PTMs)
Attend all PTMs! We value face-to-face engagements to share progressive roadmaps, review assignment execution, and address individual concerns explicitly.
Institutional Respect
Please inspire faith and respect for our school's policies. If you ever have a concern regarding a school system, kindly approach the authorities rather than critiquing the issue in front of the child—it protects their ongoing faith in our structure.
Keep Us Updated & Connected
Please inform us instantly of any change of address or emergency phone number. We always welcome constructive feedback directly via appointment or the school portal.
